Plan International jobs in Tanzania for October 2026 offer opportunities for qualified candidates interested in youth development, gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, community engagement, and project management. The latest Plan International Tanzania vacancies include Community Engagement and Gender Officer, Project Manager, Sexual Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR) Specialist, and Youth Engagement Officer. These opportunities are associated with a proposed project focusing on young people, particularly young women, in Tanga Region. Interested applicants should review the qualifications, work experience requirements, and application deadlines before applying through the official recruitment links.

1: Community Engagement and Gender Officer

Background

This is an anticipated project to be implemented by GIZ in cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Prime Minister’s Office for Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) as key partners. Implementation will focus on Tanga Region.  Subject to award, the contractor will implement all activities of outputs 2 and 3 of the project as indicated below

  1. Young people are empowered in dealing with sexual and reproductive health issues
  2. The environment for empowered choices is improved

These activities aim to support young people, particularly young women, to make informed and confident decisions about their health and future. In many communities, access to reliable information on health and relationships remains limited, and social norms may discourage open discussion or seeking professional support. As a result, young women may lack the knowledge and confidence needed to access appropriate services and claim their rights.

The contractor will be responsible for providing the following work packages and for achieving the corresponding milestones. The intervention is structured around two outputs with a total of four interlinked work packages that jointly contribute to strengthening the reproductive empowerment of young people, particularly young women, through improved access to information, services, and enabling environments.
