The Tanzania Posts Corporation volunteering programme 2026 covers ICT, marketing, postal services, public relations, human resources, accounting, transport, engineering, procurement, insurance, digital financial services, logistics and other fields. General Conditions for TPC Volunteer Opportunities
Applicants should carefully review the general conditions before submitting their applications. According to the announcement, candidates must:
- Be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Attach an up-to-date CV containing reliable contacts, including postal address, email address and telephone numbers.
- Attach certified copies of academic and professional certificates, academic transcripts and birth certificates.
- Have two guarantors who are Public Servants.
- Attach an introduction letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer or relevant Local Government Authority.
- Be willing to volunteer in the assigned area.
- Attach a copy of their National Identification Card (NIDA).
- Have no conviction by any court of law for criminal or disciplinary offences and possess good conduct and acceptable moral character within the community.
- Not have been employed by any public institution since graduation.
The announcement further states that testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI results slips will not be accepted.
Applicants holding foreign academic certificates must have them recognized by the relevant authorities, namely TCU, NECTA or NACTVET. Where a position requires a specific GPA, applicants must attach a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by TCU.
Duration of the Volunteering Programme
The TPC volunteering programme will last for one year. The programme is strictly intended to help participants develop professional skills and acquire practical work experience.
Importantly, the volunteering opportunity should not be interpreted as a basis for automatic employment in the Public Service.
