The Chairman will perform functions relating to the mandate of CHRAGG, including:
- Sensitizing the public countrywide about the preservation of human rights and duties in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Tanzania.
- Receiving complaints relating to violations of human rights.
- Conducting inquiries into matters relating to infringement of human rights and violation of principles of good governance.

Conditions of Service and Tenure
