 How to Apply to R350 Grant Using GovChat Here’s how:

  1. Go to the GovChat website
  2. Enter your phone number
  3. Complete the Captcha
  4. Click ‘LOGIN’
  5. Click on ‘SASSA Services’
  6. Click on ‘SASSA Grants’
  7. Click on ‘Apply for a grant’
  8. Click on ‘Social relief of distress (R350)’
  9. Click on ‘Create New Form’
  10. Fill in the required information
  11. Click on ‘SUBMIT PERSONAL DETAILS’
  12. You will then be given a reference number

All applicants will need to sign a declaration and consent form, as SASSA will be working with other institutions to verify details provided by applicants.
