How to Access Moodle through the web
In order to access Moodle through the web, follow the steps below:
- Using a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari), go to Dawson’s website (https://dawsoncollege.qc.ca) and click on My Dawson Portal at the upper menu:
- Login using your Student ID number and your password:
- On the left sidebar, click on “Moodle” under “My Online Classroom”:
- You are in Moodle now. Just select the right session (Fall 2020 for example) so you can see your courses. The courses you’ll see there are the ones you are registered for that session. It doesn’t mean though that all teachers will use Moodle. Some may use Lea. Just check with your teacher the right platform he/she will use.
2. Using the Moodle App
Moodle has an app which you can use on your smartphone or tablet.

After you install it, you’ll be prompted to provide your Moodle server under “Your Site”. For Dawson, use this: https://moodle.dawsoncollege.qc.ca After this, click on “Connect to your site”:
After that, you’ll need to provide your My Dawson Portal login and password:
Dawson Student Email
As a current Dawson student, you have an official Dawson College email address
Username:Â firstname.lastname[at]dawsoncollege.qc.ca
Password: Your Dawson *network password.
*The network password is used to login to the computers on campus.
If firstname.lastname[at]dawsoncollege.qc.ca doesn’t work please try the Student Email Finder
Office 365
As a current Dawson student, you also have access to Office 365 ProPlus for your PC or Mac, iOS or Android device. This gives you free licenses for 10 different software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook and Skype for Business.
For your PC and Mac, download the software from the Office 365 site. For your tablets and phones, use your app store. You can install the software on up to five machines and devices.

2021 Tuition Tax Receipts are now available
The 2021 tuition tax receipts (T2202 and Relevé 8) are now available through the MyDawson portal.
In order to obtain your tax receipts, log onto your portal and under “My Omnivox Services” select “Tuition Tax Receipts”
Please ensure that your social insurance number (S.I.N.) is added to your file before you retrieve your tax receipts.
To do so, sign into your MyDawson portal, go to “My Omnivox Services”, select “Personal File”, click on Social Insurance Number and then simply add your 9 digit S.I.N. Finally, confirm with MyDawson password.

Returning Day Students Fall 2022 Semester Fees
Your regular full-time student fees ($192) for the fall 2022 semester have now been invoiced and are due at the latest and in full by Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Please note that in order to be able to register for the fall 2022 semester these fees and any other outstanding fees must be paid in full.
IMPORTANT: Required procedure for those invoiced and NOT returning for the Fall 2022 semester:
If you are not returning for the fall 2022 semester, for reasons other than having graduated in the Winter 2022 semester and have been invoiced, please go to Omnivox > My College Services > College Withdrawal Form and complete an official form requesting the cancellation of your Fall 2022 semester. Otherwise you will be responsible to pay the fees.
Continuing Education Students
All fees are due in full upon registration. Students who do not pay their course fees may have their course registration cancelled, and will remain liable for the non-refundable fees.
