Loan Officer

Line of reporting:Manager.

Location: Dar es Salaam.

Salary: As per TAZARA SACCOS LTD Scheme of Service.

Terms of Employment: Two years contract, renewable based on performance.

Area of operation: Dar es Salaam.

Age limit: Not more than 45 years.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Implement credit policies and procedures pertaining to appraisal and approval of loan.
Loan Performance Monitoring.
Prepare Members Account Reconciliation.
Timely prepare periodic monthly, quarterly and annual reports of Loan, Saving, Deposits and Shares of the society.
Prepare Members deduction on their Loans and Contributions monthly.
Responds to queries relating to loan accordingly, accurately and timely.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualification, experience and skills required:

Education:

Possession Degree/Diploma in Accountancy and Finance. B.Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting), Co-operative Management or equivalent (Working experience in a similar position as an added advantage)

Skills:

Computer literacy and Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
